Fort Mill voters supporting the 190-million dollar school bond referendum Tuesday night.
Polls closed at 7 and by 8 o’clock supporters were celebrating quite the victory with 71% of the vote.
The last time there was a School Bond ask in Fort Mill was back in 2015.
Then, nearly 60% of voters said yes. This money will among other things build 3 new schools – the ultimate goal for the district is to try and keep up with growth. Details of results for both the school bond vote and Tega Cay Council election are attached.
