Update on Providing Shelter for Homeless Population in Lancaster County

LANCASTER, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – It has been more than a month since the Carriage Inn in Lancaster closed its doors over financial issues.

The hotel was occupied by many families and individuals who had been homeless in Lancaster County.

With Lancaster County having no homeless shelter of its own, and very few affordable housing options, nonprofit leaders have been working to come up with a solution to find shelter for those in need.

CN2’s Renee O’Neil learning more about a plan which leaders hope to provide more than a roof.
