CN2 Newscast – Collections for Kentucky, Cornhole Championships, US Postal Hiring Event

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – When tragedy strikes, people step up, and throughout the Tri-County there are many efforts to help our neighbors in Kentucky.

The SCDEC held its first statewide update on Monkeypox today. And, while they don’t have great concerns about a widespread outbreak they do want people to know what to look for in high risk populations.

For the 3rd year in a row Rock Hill is home base for the American Cornhole League World Championships and City leaders are saying the event last year brought in more than $2 million to the community.

Plus, in CN2 Sports…The Rock Hill Bearcats are ready to roll into a new season putting past frustrations behind them. We hear from head football coach Bubba Pittman and his quarterback.
