CN2’s Laurabree Monday sits down with Rick Whitmore. He’s a Spanish Teacher at York Comprehensive High School.
He says he feels humbled and excited.
Whitmore is a very loud teacher who interactions with his students in a very personal way. He adjusts his lessons to their likes and dislikes.
This year, he got rid of his desk, since teaching Spanish is all about communication. Eliminating desks, he says, is a way to remove the barrier to help the learning process.
