Car Accident at Local School: mock car accident to teach the importance of driver safety

Andrew Brownfield State Farm Insurance and Safe Kids York County hosting their first annual Teen and Parent Distracted Driving event.
New drivers and their families were able to drive in simulated courses, learn about the dangers of drunk driving and learn more about accident procedures.
Not only did kids learn how to become safer drivers they also got the opportunity to meet the first responder and talk about what happens after accidents and how lives can be changed.
Organizers say texting is the most common distraction for younger drivers.
