Winthrop University study shows $200-million economic impact on York County area

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – Winthrop has always believed it is a vital part of the economy here in York County, and now the four-year college can prove it.

Thanks to a study completed by a Winthrop professor and a handful students, The University says it can now quantify its true impact on the area economy.
