MUSC Lancaster Confirms A Second Patient Who Tested Positive For COVID-19

LANCASTER, S.C. — MUSC Lancaster has confirmed a second patient has tested positive for COVID-19.

“MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center received a second positive test result that a patient in the hospital has tested positive for COVID-19. This makes the second positive inpatient at MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center to date.”
The hospital says the patient is in fair condition. The patient and/or family has been notified prior to releasing this information publicly.

LANCASTER, S.C. — MUSC Lancaster confirmed a patient tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement released to CN2 News, the hospital says the patient is alert, oriented and in fair condition.

Because of HIPAA policies – the hospital says it won’t release any more information about the patient.

This is the first inpatient case of the Coronavirus for MUSC Lancaster.
