Law Enforcement Responds to Multiple Shootings in Lancaster Over the Weekend

 

LANCASTER, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) The City of Lancaster saw several shootings over the weekend, none were fatal.

The first shooting took place on Saturday, July 25 around 11:30 P.M. Three victims were injured on Connor Street and were treated at MUSC-Lancaster and later released.

Officers were at the scene on Connor Street when the second shooting took place just after 1:00 A.M., Sunday, July 26th. One person was shot and suffered severe injuries. That person was flown to an area medical facility.

Reports say shots were also fired into a home on Chesterfield Avenue around 8:00 A.M. on Sunday, July 26th — no was was injured in that incident.

At 1:50 A.M. on this Monday, July 27th, officers responded to Second Baptist Church on New Miller Street. A window was shot out and the driver’s side window of a vehicle was shot. There were also no injuries at this event.

All of these investigations are currently still under investigation by the Lancaster Police Department.
