YORK COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – On this day, 91 years ago, Officer Elliot P. Harris with York County Sheriff’s Office was shot and killed in the line of duty.
The incident occurred on Hwy. 21 in Fort Mill near the state line, close to where Millers Produce is today.
Officer Harris continues to live with his wife and four children.
