Chester County Sheriff’s Office Respond to a Bomb Threat

 

UPDATE: SLED has cleared the scene safe, said Chester County Spokesperson Grant Suskin. No device was found.  Suskin says Carolina Poly received a threatening call around 9:43 this morning. Deputies were on scene in two minutes. Around 150 employees were evacuated as SLED and deputies investigated.

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) Chester County Sheriff’s Office saying they’ve been called to a bomb threat.

Deputies responding to the threat at Carolina Polly on Lancaster Highway.

The scene is still active.

SLED’s Bomb Squad has been called to the scene to provide assistance.
