Chester County mourns the loss of Grandmother and Grandson due to house fire

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – The Chester Fire Department says it is still working to find out the cause of a House Sunday morning that claimed the lives of a 67-year-old grandmother and her 3-year-old grandson.

The tragedy leaving not just a family, but the entire neighborhood of Walker Street in the City of Chester in mourning as they await answers.

A family friend has created a Go-Fund-Me page to help the family with financial support saying quote “this an amazing family who has opened their doors to many people in need”.

The fundraiser’s goal is to gather $40,000.
