In honor of the celebration, CN2 Today host Renee O’Neil talked with women firefighters at Richburg Fire Department about what it takes to be a female in the field.
She explores how these women balance a demanding job, like being a mom, nurse, etc., plus find time to give back to the community.
Fire department leaders say they have the most women firefighters they have seen in the department’s history.
