York County Government Engineers earn awards on major road projects

York County Government Engineers taking home some big awards!

The Assistant County Engineer for Transportation, Patrick Hamilton, accepted an Engineering Excellence Award for the Diverging Diamond Interchange at Gold Hill – Interstate 77, the first one in the state. The project also earned a Nation Finalist Award.

And Barry McKinnon, our Utilities Program Manager was honored for his team’s work on a major sewer project in Fort Mill.
