Video Game Gun Used in Robbery, according to YCSO

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – The York County Sheriff’s Office says a Sharon man spray painted a Nintendo Duck Hunt game pistol and used it during a robbery.

They say it happened Tuesday just before 6pm, authorities say David Joseph Dalesandro, 25, was apprehended after he showed a gun at the Sharon Kwik Stop convenience store on York Street.

Witnesses told deputies a person came into the store wearing a mask, wig, and hoodie sweatshirt.

The person showed the clerk the fake gun in the waistband of his pants and demanded money from the register.

Approximately $300 was taken.

The Sheriff’s Office says Deputies located the Dalesandro in the parking lot of Dollar General down the street.

They say they found the duck hunt pistol in Dalesandro’s pants.

He was arrested and booked into the York County Detention Center.
