Two Men Facing Charges in Assault and Battery

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – Rock Hill Police Officers say a man was shot following a physical altercation Sunday morning at 4:17 on Marshall Street in Rock Hill.

Investigators say Chandler Ward and Daryl Trabucco assaulted a 28-year-old man with fists and a flashlight before Ward shot the victim.

Detectives say they found the victim on the ground with a serious, but non life-threatening gunshot wound to his side.

Authorities say while Trabucco and Ward were getting away in a Black Audi, they hit a parked car throwing Ward out of the vehicle and causing a chain reaction with other cars. The report says a 41 y/o man and several others were injured.

Trabucco is facing charges of Assault and Battery by Mob with his bond being set at $8,000.
Ward is facing charges of Assault and Battery by Mob and Attempted Murder. Ward is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries.
