SC Highway Patrol Investigates a Two Vehicle Fatal Collision Near Rock Hill

 

UPDATED: YORK COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) This past Saturday, May 16th, around 5:15 am, the South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to a two vehicle collision on Adnah Church Road, near Windsong Lane — 2 miles west of Rock Hill.

33-year-old Christopher J. Sherer was struck by a driver traveling south on Adnah Road. The driver of a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, crossed left on the center lane, striking Sherer head on.

Sherer was injured and transported to Piedmont Medical Center. The other driver was 41-year-old, Stephen Brindle, of Rock Hill. Brindle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neither vehicle had passengers.
