Rock Hill Final Election Results (Unofficial) – Runoff for Ward 5

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – Tuesday night voters in the City of Rock cast their ballots for leadership positions in two contested races. Ward 4, Ward 5 and one uncontested race in Ward 6.

John Black will hold his seat for Ward 4. Incumbent Nikita Jackson did get 7 more votes than her closest opponent Perry Sutton – but not enough to win tonight. There will be a runoff in 2 weeks, February 22nd. More details below.

WARD 4: Two Challengers –  Unofficial Results

John Black (Incumbent) – 706 Votes  –  67.82%

Ward 4: Maggie Schwietert – 331 Votes – 31.80%

 

WARD 5: Three Challengers

(Winner needs 50% + 1 or there will be a runoff)

Unofficial Results

Kenneth Harris – 17 Votes – 2.64%

Ward 5: Nikita Jackson (Incumbent) – 317 Votes – 49.22%

Ward 5: Perry Sutton – 310 Votes – 48.14%

 

Ward 6: Unopposed
Jim Reno (Incumbent) –  165 Votes  –  81.68%
