Plans announced for possible indoor concert hall in Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – A proposal to bring an indoor concert hall to downtown Rock Hill is being discussed this Tuesday during the Rock Hill Zoning Board of Appeals meeting.

The proposed concert hall would be housed were the current Common Market and Two Scoops Ice Cream are both located across the street from the old Herald Newspaper site.

Owners say the venue would be called Annex Live.

Developers say the indoor concert hall is needed in downtown Rock Hill and they want to feature acts that can sell between 500 to 900 tickets per show.

Owners say this location would only host ticketed and invitation only events and no parties with a DJ.

City staff members say they have already approved the special exception for the indoor concert hall use downtown based on the plans submitted.
