Mother, Boyfriend Charged After 4-Year-Old Found Dead At Rock Hill Home

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Two people are facing charges after police say a child was found dead at a home in Rock Hill.

Around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26th, Rock Hill Police and the York County Sheriff’s deputies were notified of a child fatality on Gentle Breeze Lane.

Officers found a 4-year-old child deceased at the residence.

According to the police report, York County DSS informed Rock Hill Police the baby was born premature on March 7th, 2016 and tested positive for cocaine.

The baby’s mother, Jackleen Mullen, 23, was arrested Wednesday, May 27th on those March charges.

Detectives also charged Mullen’s boyfriend, Audrevious Jarrell Williams, 26, with homicide by child abuse or neglect.

Rock Hill Police say the three lived together.

Mullen and Williams will have bond hearings at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27th.
