International Literacy Day

The Early Learning Partnership and the York County Library teaming up for International Literacy Day.

Kids recently visited the Mercantile downtown and enjoyed stories and games.
Children were able to read a variety of books and sit down with people from the community who wanted to read to them.
Organizers say a lot of the books were generously donated by Creative Springs.
Families got to take books home and The Tumble Bus stopped by to read with the kids and get them moving through literacy activities.
organizers say they are grateful for the communities support.

September is library card sign-up month.
