Fort Mill EMS gives students a head start in the medical field with its Cadet Program

FORT MILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – Fort Mill EMS believes there is only so much you can learn from a book, which is why the first responders aim to fill the educational gaps by offering students some first hand experience out in the field.

The health professionals have some room for younger recruits in their cadet program which has played a role in turning students into fully certified emergency medical technicians.

CN2’s Zane Cina took a ride on an ambulance to learn what this program can teach cadets.
