CLOVER, S.C. (NEWS) The town of Clover is now getting a paid fire chief, but the choice to let go of the current volunteer chief, who’s been in that role for 16 years, is causing an uproar. It started Monday night during the Clover Town Council Meeting and emotions are still high this Tuesday. CN2’s Indira Eskieva speaking to the volunteer chief, who was the one leading the cause to get more paid firefighters, never expecting he’d be the one replaced.
