The Scars of a Purple Heart

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) The Purple Heart Award is almost as old as America, and was started by George Washington in 1782. It is awarded to veterans who shed blood in combat.  Veterans who have a purple heart know the small token carries a heavy weight of memories. A Vietnam War Veteran shared his story of how his time in Vietnam left both mental and physical scars.  CN2’s Indira Eskieva introduces us to our latest CN2 Hometown Hero.
