Caller Arrested in Shooting Death of Rock Hill Woman

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – The York County Coroner’s Office identified as Dorothy Brice, 67, of Rock Hill as the deceased in the fatal shooting that occurred over the weekend on Harrison Street.

Deputies tell us they arrived on scene around 4 am Sunday to assist EMS and found the victim laying on the floor in the bedroom of the residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

We are told the caller, Ragienal Roseboro, 51 of Rock Hill, was issued warrants for Murder and Possession of a Firearm During a Violent Crime.

 

PRESS RELEASE:
On January 29, 2023, at 4:17 a.m., Rock Hill Police were dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of Harrison Street to assist EMS who received a call regarding a shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the caller, Ragienal Roseboro. Roseboro informed officers the incident scene was inside the residence.

Upon entry into the residence, a female was seen laying on the bedroom floor. Officers observed the 67-year-old female victim was suffering from a gunshot wound.

EMS arrived on scene however the victim would be pronounced deceased.

The Rock Hill Police Department Criminal Investigations Division and Forensic Services Unit responded to the scene.

Through the investigation, Roseboro was arrested and transported to the Rock Hill jail.
