Active Shooter Training in York County

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS)  The York County Sheriff’s Office continues to make sure deputies stay up to date with the latest active shooter training.  Deputies and detectives participated in a series of training drills on the campus of the Episcopal Church Home for Children in York.  As part of the training, they had to move from one building to another to get to the shooter and protect victims.  For many of these men and women, the training brought back flashbacks of the night Detective Mike Doty was shot and killed in the line of duty.
