Rae’L Jackson is from Chester, S.C. 
She attended Coastal Carolina
University and has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She discovered her love for journalism in high school, when she started her journey as the anchor for Chester Senior High School student news. While in college she was extremely involved on campus with mentorship programs, the gospel choir and her favorite was Student Government Association. She learned a lot about being a leader through each of her undergraduate experiences and she plans to continue her leadership in her very own community.
After college, Rae’L took a few months off and later begin her journey with CN2 News. Previously, she job shadowed multiple news stations in North and South Carolina. She was a reporter and photographer for her college’s newspaper The Chanticleer and she was an anchor, reporter, audio technician, and camera operator for Chanticleer Sports Network.
Rae’L is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.. In her spare time, Rae’L enjoys taking photos for her business Rae J. Photography. She likes to sing, dance and travel . Rae’L also loves time with her family every Sunday , cooking with her Granny and watching every Tyler Perry play on Amazon Prime!
