Wounded Warrior Project

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 News) – Veterans from the east coast are cycled through our area. For the third year, the Wounded Warrior Project partnered with the City of Rock Hill to host 45 soldiers on their cycles. Churches and businesses supported the program by serving as refreshment stops along the way.

Each rider was fitted to their own bike based on the nature of their injuries and prepared for a two-day ride around the city. The Wounded Warrior Projects’ Solider Ride Program works with veterans to use the power of cycling to heal their bodies and their minds. The Wounded Warriors Project believes that getting veterans on bikes is a great way to keep them healthy and keep them connected to each other.
