Two Fathers Have An Extra Special Father’s Day This Year

 

 

ROCK HILL, S. C (CN2 NEWS) Father’s Day is just a couple of days away – but one Rock Hill organization celebrates and uplifts local fathers year-round.

A Fathers Way,formally known as The Lancaster Fatherhood Project. These fathers share why this Sunday will be an extra special day for them.

A Fathers Way works with fathers from around the Tri-County and helps them become better men by teaching finance, responsibility and how to be better fathers.

A Father’s Way’s, Site Manager, Rodney Watts says, “well specifically Father’s Day it’s just important all around the world for all fathers. But for the men in our program a lot of them haven’t had the opportunity to have Father’s Day celebrated with them so we want to show them how very important they are in their children’s lives and how important their children are to them so we help uplift and celebrate them on this day.”
