MCCONNELLS, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) South Carolina Highway Patrol responding to a fatal single vehicle collision on Brattonsville Road, near Percival Road, near McConnells. The incident occurred this past Sunday, August 9, at 2:20 A.M.
The driver of a 2006 Honda Civic was traveling south on Brattonsville Road with three juvenile passengers.
The driver traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a tree. The driver was seat belted and entrapped in the vehicle — the was decedent, 28-year-old Rebekah Winn of York. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The three juvenile passengers were injured. One passenger was transported by helicopter and the other two were transported by Emergency Medical Services to Levine’s Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.
