We have an administered more shots than any other clinic in South Carolina, whether it was hospital run or otherwise — which we’re quite proud of. Then today as you know we go past 50,000 vaccinations.”

Seeing patients from nearly 400 different zip codes, and six different countries, leaders at this vaccination clinic say they’re proud of the on average, 900 shots they been able to administer here in each day. They say it speaks volumes about the collaboration that takes place in this community.

Looking back, Rick Lee with DHEC says the clinic has set an example for communities across the state, helping to lower COVID cases.

“We’ve done what we set out to do. Our goal was to get the death rate down, to get the seniors and those most vulnerable vaccinated, and to try to help us return to normalcy,” says Lee.
