Rock Hill Police Respond to Shots Fired Into a Residence

 

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) This past Sunday, August 9, at 1:00 A.M., Rock Hill Police responded to an address in the 1700 block of King Drive in reference to shots being fired into a residence, where several people were sleeping.

Upon arrival, officers found multiple shell casings outside. Officers also saw the damage left by the bullets, where they’d entered the home.

A five-year-old inside the home, suffered a shrapnel wound to the lower leg.

The Rock Hill Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Services Unit responded to the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing.
