Rock Hill Police Respond Motel 6 Assault Where a Victim Was Stabbed

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) Rock Hill Police responding to the Motel 6 on Riverview Road for an assault where a victim was stabbed. The assault happened this past Saturday, August 31, 2020.

Officers arrived to find a 42-year-old male victim being attended to, by bystanders.

Officers were able to locate witnesses to the assault, who say the victim was stabbed at the hotel by an acquaintance – after an argument.

The victim was transported by Emergency Medical Services to Piedmont Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

The Rock Hill Criminal Investigations Division responded to continue the investigation.

Detectives have since identified 50-year-old, Sheldon Duane Brown as the suspect – a warrant was issued for his arrest, with the charge of Attempted Murder.

Brown’s whereabouts are currently unknown and anyone with information of his location is asked to call the Rock Hill Police Department immediately.
