Rock Hill Growth Booming: summit for business and community leaders

The Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation hosting a summit for business and community leaders.
They hold this type of meeting every October for the last 30 years to discuss new economic developments around the city.
This year’s focus is on Knowledge Park and opportunity zones investments.
These zones are a federal tax incentive which helps cities develop and is driving new investment in our community.
Presenters reviewed plans for new developments like hotels, housing, new retail and commercial sites.
Leaders say there’s been a lot of buzz around projects like the former The Herald building property, the Thread ,the former Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company, the Good Motor Company land and several more.
Officials say summits like this one are so important to to get everyone on the same page about planning.
