Rise In Flu Cases Causing Shortage in Medicines Used To Treat The Illness

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – Flu season is underway and it’s not slowing down as health officials say York County has one of the highest Flu transmission rates in the state, making it one of 22 counties to receive that designation.

Even health professionals are struggling to keep up with how fast the illness is passing between people.

Another issue, there’s also a shortage on the drugs needed to heal the sick. Tamiflu and Amoxicillin have become harder to get due to manufacturing delays which is why professionals at Carolina Pharmacy are using a more creative method to help their customers.
