LANCASTER, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) The people of Lancaster have heard the promise before – the downtown area will be revitalized. Many locals remember a time when downtown Lancaster was the place to shop and eat. That came to an abrupt stop when the textile mills left town. However, with a new mayor, many say he may be what the city needs to finally see change. CN2’s Indira Eskieva with the plans already in motion to bring new businesses to Lancaster.
