Researchers from Charleston making it easier for people to participate in clinical trials

LANCASTER, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – MUSC Lancaster partnering with a team of researchers from Charleston to bring research opportunities to the Lancaster and Chester County areas.

The team was given the chance to discuss the opportunity with community leaders during a conference this Tuesday.

The research that they will be conducting involves the use of nicotine and finding more effective ways to help those addicted to the substance to quit.

With the team being based in Charleston getting volunteers from this area was difficult, however with the partnership being formed with MUSC Lancaster, they say it is becoming easier.

If you wish to take part in these clinical trials, you can see if you qualify by going to MUSC’s website.
