Renee O’Neil Bio

Renee O’Neil joined the CN2 team in March 2014. Prior to joining the team Renee interned with CN2 her senior year of college at Carolina School of Broadcasting.

While interning she gained experience out in the field and fell in love with reporting. After graduating from college she started working at CN2 as a Commercial Producer. A year later, a reporting position became available at CN2 and Renee jumped on it! She says everyday since has been an adventure! Renee truly enjoys making a difference in the people’s lives she encounters during her stories.

The most memorable story she’s covered is about a little boy named Conner Goldhammer from Fort Mill who lives with Brittle Bones Disease. Renee was there as the community came together to collect money to buy Conner a personal chair that allows him to be more independent. His smile totally stole her heart.

When Renee is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, crafting, being outdoors and catching a good chick flick!

Renee is originally from Chester County and is proud to call Rock Hill her home. Have a story idea for Renee? Contact her, she will be glad to work with you!
