Participate in the Peace & Conflict Resolution Conference

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – Finding peace is sometimes hard to do when we are bombarded with messaging telling us how divided we are. The Rotary Clubs in the Upstate of South Carolina are teaching us how to build healthy and peaceful communities through a conference which helps us to understand how unconscious bias impacts our lives.

The Fort Mill,  Rock Hill and Lake Wylie Rotary Clubs are partnering with other Rotary clubs in their district (which spans from York County all the way to Clemson) by offering the Peace and Conflict Resolution Conference, which will take place on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Greenville Convention Center in Greenville, SC.

One of the pillars of Rotary International is “Peace” and organizers say they really want to help lead the conversation and create a safe space for those to ask questions and learn.

This year’s conference theme will focus on “unconscious bias and the conflicts that result from that bias” – Peace and Conflict Resolution

James Jeter of the Fort Mill Rotary Club says the conference is open to everyone and not just Rotary Members.
