Number of Child Abuse and Neglect Reports Has Grown, Says SCDSS

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) DSS says the number of child abuse and neglect investigations has grown in the last several years.  They say people reporting situations is key in helping a child in an abusive situation. In South Carolina, if you work in certain fields, you are legally required to report child abuse. In an effort to raise awareness about what to look out for, the Children’s Attention Home hosted the Children’s Law Center. CN2’s Indira Eskieva with the legal duty of protecting children.
