Lawsuit: update on former sheriff Alex Underwood

An update on former sheriff Alex Underwood’s court date,
attorney’s say he’s expected back in court in January.
Now the mother and son whose cases launched a wrongful arrest investigation by the US attorney’s into Underwood and two other deputies have filed lawsuits against the Chester County Sheriff’s Office. The lawsuit says, among other things, that the sheriff’s office acted negligently and recklessly when they wrongfully detained Kevin Simpson in November of 2018. Simpson’s charges along with his mother Ernestine’s charges were later dismissed by the attorney general’s office.
