LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office responded to a death at MUSC-Lancaster this past Sunday.
Around 12:30 A.M. this past Sunday, a 15-year-old male was thrown from the back of a moving pick up truck at the intersection of Gillsbrook Road and Plantation Road, in Lancaster — resulting in his death.
Officials say the 15-year-old victim is from Lancaster and was taken to MUSC-Lancaster to be treated for his injuries, where he was pronounced deceased.
As of now, the victim’s identity has not been released.
The incident is still under investigation by the Lancaster Police Department and the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.
