Happy Feet Project

The Fort Mill Rotary Club is donating $6000 worth of new shoes to local students in need.
The donation is a part of the organization’s new Happy Feet service project.

Organizers say this is the first service of it’s kind in this part of the state.
Kids from Springfield, Gold Hill and Fort Mill Middle Schools got to come to Academy Sports to shop the latest shoe styles.
25 members from the Rotary Club got to shop alongside the children.
The director of the fort mill rotary club foundation – says it’s important for all students to walk with confidence.

The Rotary Club of Fort Mill says they’re designed to serve the needs of the community.
They say they hope to help 85 students get a new pair of shoes.
