Friends Gather To Celebrate Life Of Rock Hill Nurse Shot To Death, Push For Change

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Friends are coming together to honor the life of a Rock Hill nurse who was fatally shot in her home just over a week ago.

They held a vigil to celebrate 48-year-old Julie Taylor who was loved by so many in the community.

The vigil took place in the Magnolia Room in Rock Hill. Loved ones shared memories, song and candlelight.

In the video above, CN2’s Sarah Obeid learns that Julie’s death has many pushing for change and what they’re doing to put a stop to domestic violence.
