Domestic Violence: Safe Passage is raising awareness

In South Carolina, the palmetto state is ranked among the top 10 worst states for the rate of women murdered by men that’s according to those working on the front lines.
Here locally Safe Passage in Rock Hill is hosting it’s 4th annual event to raise awareness.
Several leaders from various community organizations came together to shatter the silence and start conversations about violence.
The goal is to learn how to reduce, prevent and identify domestic violence.
Safe Passage’s leaders believe the more informed the community is, the more they’ll be able to assist victims in need.
