ROCK HILL, S.C.C (CN2 TODAY) – In this week’s Pets of the Week you’ll find two very special furr-babies in need of a loving family that will spend time with them each day.
Aretha, a mostly black and white tabby tortie, is this week’s Cat of the Week. We are told she is a reserved 3 year old sweetie who is often over looked. She came to Humane Society of York County (HSYC) from animal control and has been with the HSYC 1.5 years too long. She would prefer all the attention as the only cat in the household. Aretha’s preferred location is comfortably checking out the birds from a window sill or planted on your lap.
Marco, who was brought in as an owner surrender due to the owners health issues, is this week’s Dog of the Week. The HSYC says he is an adorable big boy waiting for his forever’s to walk thru the door. Fairly new to the facility, Marco loves everyone and wants to play, walk, hike, experience the adventure with you. At just 2 years old, Marco still has some puppy in him and would make a great training partner.
If Athena or Marco grabs your attention, call the HSYC today to make your appointment 803-802-0902.
