CN2 Newscast – York County Council District 6 Election, Sober or Slammer, Adoption Day, and More

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – Two candidates are running for the District 6 seat on York County Council, with a special election set for next Tuesday, January 3rd.

Lancaster Sheriff’s Office also reminding drivers to practice safety this holiday weekend. The agency is continuing it’s sober or slammer campaign, encouraging all to hang up the car keys when drinking.

Plus, many people in family court today as York County celebrated national adoption day by allowing many families to finalize adoptions just ahead of the new year.
