CN2 Newscast – Hometown Heroes at school, Surgeon keeping hearts, Hutchison Property

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – Rock Hill City Council moving to rid the Hutchison Property of all things Carolina Panthers once and just for $1.

A Rock Hill surgeon and his team are working to keep hearts the best they can be all year long by performing life saving heart surgeries. Dr. Barry Chan is a heart surgeon with Piedmont Medical Center.

One of the goals of high school is to prepare students for the real world.
The Floyd D. Johnson Technology Center places students into their field of interest hoping to give them those life experiences. Several students used the skills they learned to help during a true emergency and because of that we recognize them as a CN2 Hometown Hero.

We have those stories and more.
