CN2 Digital Dashboard – A Retirement Celebration and YC Airport Announces Aerial Event Date

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – YC Sheriff’s Office is celebrating a beloved officer who worked hard to keep drugs off the street and the YC Airport is gearing up for the annual Aerial Parade!

The York County Sheriff’s Office celebrating the well deserved retirement of Lt. Mike Ligon AFTER MORE THAN 20 YEARS with the department.
Ligon is a well loved member of the York County Sheriff’s Office family.
He recently worked with the Multi-jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit and worked hard to get drugs off our streets.

 

The Rock Hill-York County Airport is getting set to kick off Aviation Week in South Carolina on Saturday August 13th with its 3rd annual aerial parade, “Tour De York!” Take-offs will begin at 10:30 am. The last aircraft is expected to land back at the airport around 11:45 am.
There will be different types of general aviation aircraft. If you live within one mile or less from the flight path you should be able to see the show from your home. If you want a closer view, there are public areas for your enjoyment. Click Here to learn more.
