CN2 Digital Dashboard – Drowsy Driving Prevention Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – This week is the National Sleep Foundation’s Drowsy Driving Prevention Week.

According to the latest numbers, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates 50,000 people were injured in collisions involving drowsy drivers and nearly 800 people died.

Authorities say most collisions occur during the late afternoon or between midnight and 6 AM with many collisions occurring on rural roads.
