Carolina Connection – Mental Health Resources Available At Winthrop University

YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Mental health and the Coronavirus, two that go hand-in-hand.

CN2’s Laurabree Monday talks with Elizabeth Tate, Winthrop University’s Telemental Health Coordinator about services still available on campus and how students can access them.

The appointments are remote and free to students.

Winthrop sees 80 to 100 students a week for group counseling, individual counseling, couples counseling and medication management.
